With only 63k original miles, this 89 Sportruck has to be one of the few remaining original, low mileage Comanches around. It has original (although not perfect) paint and a very nice gray interior with a bench set

This is a great truck to hop in and daily drive, or a great candidate for a full restoration project (although not much work would be required). This truck was purchased from the original owner with 53k miles. It is a 2.5L 4 cylinder, 4 speed manual, 2wd truck. This combination averages 21 mpg! It is almost completely original minus some tasteful mods done in the 10k miles I’ve spent daily driving it. Flimsy plastic valve cover has been replaced with an aluminum valve cover from a later year 2.5L. Tires were bought brand new, and currently have less than 200 miles on them, fresh alignment has just been done. Bluetooth head unit installed, new alternator, serpentine belt, and full tune up has recently been done. Its very clear this truck has had extensive maintenance it’s entire life.

There is no rust present on body/“frame” of this Comanche. The rockers, cab corners, and rear wheel wells are immaculate. The floor pans had some patch work done. The floor pans were installed properly, welded in patch panels and then treated with POR15. The underside of the jeep has been undercoated to preserve it for years to come. The inner lip on the bottom the rear bumper is starting to rust but it is still very straight and solid.

PA inspection is good until next month, and it should have no problems passing. Front brakes, and wheel bearings were done before alignment. Fresh rear brake line with an aftermarket proportioning valve to replace the failure prone factory weight sensing valve. The truck gets attention/compliments everywhere it goes. I’ve since got a newer vehicle and don’t need this one anymore. Although if it doesn’t sell I’d have no problem holding on to it
